Finchley is a district in Barnet in north London, located 11 km away north of Charing Cross. It is predominantly a residential suburb, with three town centres.

Church End
Church End is a locality within Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet in London. The main road runs on a north-south axis, and is called Regents Park Road from the North Circular Road until it reaches the station, where the name changes to Ballards Lane. To the southeast, along East End Road are two institutions of note: Avenue House home to the Finchley Society, and a Jewish cultural centre the Sternberg Centre.

Finchley Central tube station is a London Underground station in the Church End area of Finchley, North London. The station is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern line, between West Finchley and East Finchley stations and is the junction for the short branch to Mill Hill East station. The station is above ground and is in Travelcard Zone 4.
Victoria Park
Victoria Park is in Church End in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. It covers 7 hectares (17 acres). It is close to Finchley Central and West Finchley tube stations. Much of the park was originally part of Colby’s Farm, where Charles Dickens wrote part of Martin Chuzzlewit. In 1887 Henry Stephens proposed converting the area to a park to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee, but it was not opened until 1902, a year after Victoria’s death.
